Why Social Workers Need To Be Vocal

Dr. Steve Perry gave an excellent speech the other night that was broadcast on C-SPAN. In it he discusses the role of social workers dealing with social ills in our society. Dr. Perry also calls on social workers to be politically active and to be vocal in the public sphere. You can watch the speech in it’s entirety here. It runs about an hour.
