Social Work Chats is Back

By Rachel L. West, MSW, LMSW
The Political Social Worker

Social Work Chats is back tonight at 8 PM (EST) on Twitter.  Join us in discussing immigration reform and the DREAM Act with guest Melinda K. Lewis, LMSW.  You can learn more about Melinda and tonight’s topic here.  I also highly recommend visiting Melinda’s  excellent blog, Classroom to Capitol, where she writes about her advocacy work.

Social Work Chats is a weekly discussion for social workers and other helping professionals. Each week the Social Work Chats explores relevant social and political issues.  You can find out more about the chats, including future chat topics as well as archived chats at socialworkhelper.com.

All you need to participate in Social Work Chats is a Twitter account.  When taking part in the chats use hashtag #SWUnited to follow along and join in the discussion.
