SCOTUS To Decide Whether Or Not To Hear Same-Sex Marriage Cases

by Rachel L. West, MSW, LMSW

The Supreme Court of the United States is expected to decide today or Monday whether or not they will hear cases related to the issue of same-sex marriage.  Mother Jones has an excellent concise breakdown of the six cases that the court may be hearing.  The article also touches on why some pro-marriage equality groups would prefer the court to decide not to hear the cases.  Four of the cases are related to the constitutionality of DOMA.
