By Rachel L. West

#MacroSW Chat had a great discussion this past Thursday on international social work. We discussed what international social work is and how to pursue a position in that area. If you missed the chat you can read the transcript here.

#MacroSW Chat is a live Twitter chat the takes place on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of each month at 9:00 PM EST. It is a collaboration between the Association of Community Organization (ACOSA), Deona Hooper (Social Work Helper), Karen Zgoda (PhD Candidate), University at Buffalo – School of Social Work, University of Southern California – School of Social Work, Macro Social Work Student Network (MSWSN), and the Network for┬áSocial Work Management (NSWM).

Topics cover issues related to macro social work (aka community practice). The chats run about one hour. All chats are archived on Storify.
