Nonprofits In Trouble

Faces of the Fallen: Nonprofits Folding after Federal Cuts – NPQ – Nonprofit Quarterly – Promoting an active and engaged democracy..

This is very concerning.  It is bad for Social Workers and it is very bad for the clients and communities we serve.  When nonprofits close because of budget cuts the needs of their clients do not go away.  Instead the clients are left without anywhere to turn for help.

Election Day in Tuesday November 6th.  As Social Workers we need to make sure we are supporting candidates that understand the value of nonprofits.
