Putting Yourself On The Right Path

Job Search For A Macro Social Worker Webinar
November 9, 2014 1:00-2:30 PM EST

By Rachel L. West
Advocacy & Community Outreach Consultant

On November 9th I will be offering the Job Search for a Macro Social Worker webinar. The webinar is designed to provide social workers with information about pursuing a macro career path.

As many of you know, the vast majority of social work career resources focus on building a career as a clinician. Job Search for a Macro Social Worker is about getting yourself on the right path to building a community practice career.

The webinar will run for 90 minutes. There will be a Q & A following the presentation.

Topics covered:

  • Workplace settings.
  • Macro practice Job titles.
  • Best practices for job search success.
  • Job boards that advertise community practice positions.
  • How to utilize social media for professional networking.

You can register at http://www.anymeeting.com/PIID=EB50DF81894E3D.

If you run into problems with registering you can email me at rlwestconsulting@gmail.com.
