Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving. For November Social Work License Map is publishing a series of articles in recognition of National Homeless Youth Awareness Month. I was approached to contribute an article. I choose to focus on LGBT homeless youth. You can read the article here.

Update on NYS CEU Requirements

The Office of the Professions has finally begun to add approved CEU providers to the website. Starting in January all New York State LMSW and LCSW holders must accrue 36 CEU hours per registration cycle. You can find the list of providers here. The Education Department is still reviewing applications and will continue to add providers to the list.
